Great tips -- and thank you for reminding folks to enjoy responsibly. At Windsor Oaks we offer spit cups on request, water & soft drinks for designated drivers, and think that any of our neighbor wineries would do the same to keep great events like these safe & fun. Enjoy the weekend!

Great advice on the spit cup. I worked in a tasting room for years and never saw anyone do that.

Thanks so much for explaining the important points...like sharing the tasting bar with others and mapping out your plan...While I not only map out an entire weekend when it comes to an event I also pack a picnic, plan to be at that spot around the right time of day, pack lots of water (and make everyone drink it!), and keep people moving to not only avoid the crowds but to make the most of the event. Believe it or not I have been to over 17 locations in one day (and I am the designated driver, spitting, spitting, spitting!)
